This course consists of six individual sessions that can be booked separately, however newly registered and potential childminders are strongly advised to attend the whole course, as it is a natural follow-on to the pre-registration training course. Each session must be booked individually.
Existing childminders who would like to refresh their skills may attend single sessions if they prefer.
To gain an understanding of the effects and consequences of the use of fossil fuels, to apply that knowledge and become aware of how we use fossil fuels in our daily lives, and to be able to match appropriate ’natural’ technologies to achieve the same use in a greener lifestyle whilst investigating how this can minimise our impact on the Earth.
This can be a stand alone lesson or an appropriate follow up to the Stern Review – Climate Change in a Report lesson..
